The Roamer HOME is our professional 48V LiFePO4 battery - designed for high power users whether that’s in a house, boat or van. This is our most powerful battery yet, giving you total freedom to live and work off grid without compromise. Now updated for 2025 to include 2A Active Balancing, Bluetooth (using the Roamer SMART app) and plug and play CANbus integration with Victron and other compatible inverters.
Built to last
The Roamer HOME is built around sixteen Grade A+ 105Ah LiFePO4 cells with exceptional power density and 100% usable capacity allowing for a full cycle capacity of 5.4kWh, expandable up to 86kWh. Now includes our second generation 48V BMS that supports up to 7.7kW discharge and includes a wide range of safeguards including low temperature charging and surge protection.
We’ve used the highest quality components and packed them into a compact, serviceable case that can be rack or floor mounted for flexible installation.

The Roamer HOME comes with integrated Bluetooth, CANBus and RS485 ports offering a range of communication options. New updates for 2025 include easy monitoring with the Roamer SMART app as well as plug and play integration with a wide range of third party inverters and system monitoring, including Victron GX products.
Safety First
Here at Roamer, we take safety extremely seriously and strive to make the safest LiFePO4 batteries possible. It is no secret that Lithium can be dangerous and whilst LiFePo4 is without doubt, the safest option, it is still not without risk. And that’s why we go above and beyond on both compulsory and voluntary extensive safety tests and processes. We choose to test every single battery before it leaves the factory by cycling to 100% and 0% and applying a high charge and discharge load to identify potentially faulty cells and connections, test BMS performance and verify cell balance at the top and bottom of the voltage-charge cycle. Our SMART3 batteries use only traceable branded cells from reputable manufacturers with lab test reports to verify battery safety as part of the EN 61619 certification. Finally, our product and fulfilment services also meet the courier requirements to ship Dangerous Goods under the UN3480 certification.
